Maurizio Ambrosini is Full Professor of Sociology of Migration at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, University of Milan, Italy, where he has furthered the creation of the Laboratory in Immigration, Multiculturalism and Society (LIMeS). His research interests cover immigrants' labour market, irregular migrations, migration policies, refugee studies. He is the author of more than 200 books, articles and essays on these topics.
