Valerie Smeets
Valerie Smeets is Professor at the Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus. She has a BA, an MA and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Université libre de Bruxelles. She received a post-doctoral position at the Aarhus School of Business and was Assistant Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
She is specialized in personnel economics and its interaction with industrial organization. Her latest research focuses on post-merger workforce integration and the estimation of production functions.
