Matthew Sandefer
Matthew Sandefer is a PhD. candidate at Princeton University. His research explores the representation of evil in short prose during the early decades of France's Third Republic. He is interested in particular in the work of Catholic authors such as Barbey d’Aurevilly, Léon Bloy, and Villiers de l’Isle-Adam.
